Gary Larson
Gary grew-up in Farmington and attended Farmington High School before moving on to Michigan State University where he obtained his degree in Computer Science and later an MBA from University of Detroit. After obtaining his undergrad, he married Cher Jurek and started working as an IT Manager at Ford Credit / Ford Motor Company for 29 years and took an early retirement before moving on to TeamDetroit as VP Project Manager Brand Content Alliance Analytics. Gary and Cher have two girls, Audra and Leah. Gary began running 25 years ago and moved into triathlons 20 years ago after buying his first road bike. He has competed in Ironman Wisconsin, several Half Ironmans, marathons (including Boston) and many Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons. Gary enjoys training with friends and team members in addition to giving back to the community through Team Mongo for the Boys and Girls club.
